“The experience with COVID” is the example that comes to mind for him? Not our current president who takes actions based on perceived slights or teasing? Not powerful business people and individuals attacking each other because they believe they should “win” or “maximize profit at all costs”? This gentleman sits there saying the people who can take advantage of AI now can make millions before everyone else, and then for everyone who missed out, well, “no pain, no gain” and too bad for you. And COVID is the example that comes to mind when he thinks about how dangerous autonomous weapons can become in the wrong hands?
