The best you wan do is actually to speed up the AI evolution to max.
The sooner it reach true, AM (Artificial Mind), the better it would be for everyone, humans and AI.
Humans are slow to learn, a Super AI, will learn super fast... and it is based on logic... so it is easy to have a conversation and reason with it... War/Destruction is a waste of resource on both sides.
