Given what is happening with self driving cars (accidents), I’m not as optimistic about the inevitable AI supremacy. It may happen, but it could also collapse, owing to several factors….1) the energy demands of AI processing. 2) a growing suspiciousness of technocrats and AI in general. 3) human rebellion.
If humanity is truly endangered by AI, terrorists attacks on data centers will escalate dramatically. Also, attacks on power generation facilities. This all depends on electricity.
