You can replace WORKERS with AI, but you can never replace CUSTOMERS with AI.
And if your customers don't have jobs of their own (and thus, no income), then where will your customers get the income they need to purchase your goods and services?
Even Universal Basic Income won't get you out of this one, because even the government needs to get the money from SOMEWHERE, and printing new money only leads to inflation.
