Any technology is something which should be used as a tool in a toolbox. Be it car, bike, mobiles, etc. AI is no exception, when such a threat exists, experts and others should stop blabbering about AI creating new jobs (could become AI employer and human slaves) and actually introspect onto such a technology overtaking humans.
Throughout history humans have ended up relying on just a single source or just a single way to everything, like using gold to evaluate money, using fossil fuels to run vehicles and produce power, using phones for almost anything and everything, instead of almost always having an alternate which could otherwise save a person or a thing when the leading thing goes down. This makes it crucial to re-evaluate the position of AI.
Not just for precision and dependency, but also for humanity and morality. For if we ened yo depending on AI for everything that satisfies humanity's unending greed, laziness and desires, we may very well lose sight of ourselves in the future by creating something far worse that may harm everything else in the future
