Look, I am not an artist and I am not part of the AI Art community but I definitely see several good reasons to have it that most people are overlooking and that needs to be part of the conversation more but the art community loves to shut that talk out and say it's all only art theft and putting artists out of jobs. And it seems like plenty, possible most just want AI art to disappear which is not going to happen and shouldn't. It shouldn't scrap copyrighted content without permission but at the same time, it can be used as a way for artists to make money by licensing their work to help these algorithms. Also, once an artist dies, their work should be in the public domain and allowed to be used by AI Art.
