The concept of UBI in light of the Ai revolution makes no sense to me. After firing many people from obsolete employment, how and why would corporate America suddenly agree to pay dividends to the general public? Are we naive enough to believe they would volunteer this or that our compromised politicians would enact a tax framework to do this? Today the corporate world owes its loyalty to profiting its shareholders, and that will not change tomorrow.
