People should always distinguish between GPT-4 , which costs money to use and GPT 3.5 , which is free. The difference is that GPT-4 is 10x smarter and scored at the 90% percentile on the bar exam in a short amount of time while simultaneously answering thousands of questions from other users. I would not use either model as my lawyer, but no commentary that fails to distinguish between them can be taken seriously.
Also, “Chat-GPT” is just a web site that accesses the GPT models, allowing you to pick GPT-3.5 for speed or GPT-4 for accuracy.
