Who said that? Buddhism is not a religion but not because of lack of belief in God but because its part of Sanatani thought. Buddha never wanted to create a new religion, he wanted to give up animal sacrifices and rituals of Vedic age and replace it with compassion of animals and release from pain and pleasure. Its reformed Hindu thought. Their ultimate goal is to be one with Bramha and gain moksha from eternal cycle of death and rebirth, which is the ultimate reality of this universe because of which everything exists. Muslims should seriously not talk about such complex topics which go over their head and stick to their sand demon worship.
