AI is only as good or evil as our own human hubris, bias, and error. One of my favorite short series, A Murder At The End Of The World explores this. When a man is killed, no one can figure out who the killer is. It ends up being a child, all because his rich father spoke to his therapy bot expressing feelings of malice toward the victim. The AI perceived the victim as a threat & instructed the child, through a series of adventure games, to combine the tools necessary to carry out the murder undetected.
