It’s a shame but they were doing their job in executing a warrant. These guys probably had no idea what they were going to do when they got to work until their superior gave them a warrant signed by a judge and asked them to execute it. Racism is absolutely unacceptable but that’s not necessarily the case here. Now using facial recognition that has a known flaw that causes false positives for minorities is unacceptable. I could almost kinda see it being used in terrorism investigations, but even then it’s morally wrong. I mean this was a freaking shoplifting case. I’m surprised they even investigated it.
