I suffer from Aphantasia and I love AI for bringing ideas and thoughts to life just so I can see what they'd kinda look like. However, I hate companies that use public content to train their models and then charge money. That is 100% nonsense and these businesses should be shut down. Any AI company that allows you to remake an image in the distinctive "Studio Ghibli Style" (or ANY distinctive style) without paying the artist should have their assets seized, their c-suite incarcerated, and businesses dissolved. I'm not an artist but even I know that the greats in the art world go through years and years and years of trying to find their own style.
Just like capitalism to steal the hard work from the masses to sell it back for profit while doing little work themselves.
