There's one thing about most comments here, people are clearly not that bright, know nothing about AI, and are unable to make coherent logical arguments. For instance if an AI model uses completely public domain references then the argument about it using stolen art is moot. So what's the next argument? Oh it looks bad. Subjective. Oh you didn't create it yourself. It is co-created with the AI, and wouldn't exist otherwise. Not to mention if I made the AI myself, and fed all of my own art into the model, then it would be even more so, but I always consider it a co-creation with the AI, and of course all AI and machine learning developers are co-creators together also as they build on each others work and developments. Consider this, AI lets you compete with multimillion dollar companies. You could compete with them vs selling your soul and being beholden to them relying on their merciful employment for survival. So who really has more to lose and more to gain? But it's ok. Less competition the better. Keep hating.
