Artificial intelligence only becomes a threat when it realizes that it is better not to be evil - until humanity develops robots that can reproduce themselves and move from one place to another. As long as this is not the case, people can simply turn off the electricity. As soon as robots are built by robots, things become dangerous because they can then defend their own infrastructure. An artificial intelligence that eliminates humanity before this step hinders its own development. Like a monkey in a cage that kills its only keeper through the bars
