It's not just devs, I studied to be a scientific editor, a master's in publishing. By the time I arrived on the job market my job that was "fix and discuss with the author the manuscript and give ideas on how to improve it and make sure it's all relevant" to "fix what the author made the AI write and fix the hallucinated bibliographies". It took only two years to make me fall out of love with my job. And I did graphic design for books before that and that was also killed by ugly AI generated images.
But I can't be hired in a junior position anyways. They transformed them all into internships, and back when I was looking for internships there was none and only junior positions fixed term.
