I won't lie, AI tools have made it easier for single developers like myself to get started making a video game.
The issue is, big companies are betting that consumers will settle for whatever the AI makes.
Having a good idea is one thing. Executing on that idea still takes a lot of work and effort from a lot of talented people. I just don't see a machine being able to do that in a way that makes sense.
