Once ai is able to run society without human work, there will be global income, and people will be innovating , and advancing our society, in ways beyond just being the cog in the machine. Ultimately, this is beneficial for the collective advancement, as humans will be more focused on self development, hence more means to more innovative, but one oculd argue that they will be consumed by the consumers products, but thats another topic.
