Basic income.
There is too many nuances why people not going to work, will not work, cannot work, does not have to work. Despite popular delusion the economy not going to collapse, because basic income is just that, basing income, a necessary step in social progress just like establishment of pension was. The more people going to delay to demand it the longer they have to continue to exist in fear of loosing their job and ability to buy basic necessities. I hope AI will force people to consider what they have been so far refusing to consider.
But since USA now is a lagging behind nation that does not have even a free hospital care, I believe some EU country or countries would be first to establish basic income fully.
