He knows full well this is unlike prior changes. You have a tool that can learn and improve itself, we've never had that in history. And abundance for whom..the companies that own the platforms who will be trillion dollar valuations? And own the energy infrastructure to drive it? The pharmaceutical industry who uses AI for breakthroughs, so they can patent and charge premium dollar for these? I really feel he thinks the vast majority of people are naive, because he certainly cant be that naive and optimistic in that position. I think its a great tool, but its social and economic impacts will be significant. He seems to be skirting the seriousness of it.
