I will SLIGHTLY play devils advocate and say this. It does actually take a fair bit of work and itterative generations to make AI image generators pop out something good. Especailly if it's a complex image.
This doesn't make it art and it doesn't make this moron an artist. But it is likely he did spend a significant amount of time and effort to generate that piece. I've played around with them and making something decent is harder than people think.
But again just because it takes effort doesn't make him an artist. I certianly don't think I've an artist. For me it's more like a toy I'm messing with for fun.
