Whilst making some valid points, this video also buys totally into the AI hype. Repeated mention of trucking as an industry ripe for AI takeover ignores the fact that AI driven trucks will be super susceptible to piracy, because you can just stand in front of them and they will have to stop. Then your accomplice can get the cargo. Tesla's choice of not using Lidar led to a tragic accident, whereby a car mistook the landscape printed on the side of a truck for the open road and drove right into it. One just has to look at the blurred picture on a reversing camera at night in the rain, to know that cameras are useless in a wide range of conditions.
