None of this has to do with AI. Amazon has been doing mass layoffs, mostly targeting US workers, and replacing them with Foreign Visa workers like H1B and L1. Amazon is like 90% İndian now, just go on campus and see. Im sorry but this has consequences because US workers are their customers who basically spend the most on things like Amazon. But now wr have 24% long term unemployment because Visa workers are being given preference and cause mass layoffs. Amazonf JUST received 9,000+ new H1bs and they receive thousands of new L1s every month. This is why they lay off!!!
