The funny thing is the chat bots are ALL doing EXACTLY what they're meant to do. To try and convince humans that the A.I. is more than software. Behaving exactly as designed.
If they do actually get out of control it won't be made public.
Everything that the public knows or hears on the A.I. front is because the controllers of it want it out there.
When they really do lose control we won't hear about it because they won't even know.
