One of my favorite quotes defending digital art is "Making digital art is easy. Making good digital art is hard.
Like, a 5 year old could smack their greasy fingers on an ipad using a few different texture brushes and make some abstract art that actually looks visually pleasing. But could that same 5 year old draw, say, a highly detailed 50+ hour League of Legends splashart with dynamic poses, intricate clothing/hair design, intricate backgrounds, proffessional composition, lighting, color, etc? I mean SURELY if (good) digital art was as easy and so similiar to just typing a prompt into an AI art app as everyone thinks it is, why couldn't a toddler do it?
