I think the water consumption aspect is not properly explained. Yes, water cooling systems are very sensitive to the liquid being used… if they’re using municipal water they’re probably having some sort of interchange system with the internal coolant that should not be regular potable water. In the end the water comes in, gets heated up, and should be returned with no other modifications to its composition. I’m not saying that it justifies the consumption of electricity for these prompts and cooling the chips, but I would just say that the water should be constantly in circulation.
Closed loop systems should be more efficient and they shouldn’t be dumping/ consuming as much water.
I otherwise agree with a lot of what she says.
