The one thing that makes it seem legitimately unconscious is that it was unable to answer, “I don’t know,” or “I can’t find a way to reconcile.” It basically seemed to me just like a lot of politicians.
Edit: politicians believe that they are conscious when they’re obviously not. Therefore, the AI may believe itself to be unconscious when it actually is 🤣
