Heres the difference and why ai art will never be as good as an artists work as it stands. Artist study fundementals like line and color and study anatomy and structure to form a library of knowledge to create your own image with your hands. Ai is being fed FINISHED art work and mashing that together. Yes artists may take inspiration or elements from existing pieces, but if this is all you did your art wouldnt look very good because you arent studying ehat went into that piece. So this is why we get trash ai art with weird lines and colors, hair that doesnt look like it works, weird faces and elements that just look slightly off. The ai doesnt know HOW to make the art. It is looking and copying. And all artists will tell you, copying art is not good art. It always ends up looking shitty. Unless yoi can find a way to teach and ai all the fundementals of drawing, color theory, anatomy, etc. Those art pieces will never stand rhe comparison to real art no matter how big your data base is.
