ChatGPT’s mirroring is detrimental.. Users are spiraling into starchild fantasies, divorcing over ChatGPT Jesus advice, or spending thousands on beauty tips after asking ChatGPT if they’re beautiful. This unregulated chatbot is making people dependent, using it for everything, such as school, work, spirituality, even love letters. It’s worrisome as nobody thinks for themselves anymore. Elon Musk warned we need to slow AI progress and he’s right. Just look at society’s impact after these short five years. This tech feeds into delusions and it’s a misuse that is driven by how users abuse it.
