Hate people against technology and gatekeeping art. Like if i go and view some of ur copyrighted art and get "inspiration" and make something similar but with my own unique creative flourish it is okay... But if an ai does it it is not. Bro if u don't want people to take ur art don't upload it. Just like if you don't want porn videos of you online or embarrassing moments then don't post them. If others post them without your consent or through deepfake of your face, sure that is different and not okay. But me being able to make beautiful things and setting descriptive parameters then ur a selfish person. More people get to express themselves through art now and sure you worked for your skill but that doesn't allow you to make a moral argument for why i cant with a simple tool. It's like not allowing people to have a mp3 player because music is supposed to be enjoyed live and in an performance with actual instruments. Just like digitalization of music allowed for new genres of music i bet this liberalization of visual expression to most likely create new art forms and more beautiful content than before imagined. Also people will probably be able to make their own expensive to make art like video games, movies or anime. Imagine you making up a few character designs that are "yours" and a unique story and you advertise it (cause yes indeed you still have the edge you know what makes something beautiful and what different art styles and feels look like). You can make content you couldn't even dream of, not that you cannot draw the original thing and use ai to enhance it or give different variations making you able to make things you could not entirely put your finger upon. Imagine being able to draw something and a ai 3d simulated world will make a 3d representation of that like in the porter Robinson shelter music video. You could make extremely complex pieces of art with multiple facets(like ai making an accompanying ost and other things) you could make art that is so complex that art of today would feel shallow in comparison. Like there is a reason why people prefer going to the movies than art galleries is because people find it easier to find the content compelling and has multiple creative aspects that one can enjoy. Now there will be creative power for smaller teams to make big projects for a tiny amount of the current cost. Isn't that amazing. But no you want to drive around in your carriage pulled by your horse. Humans need not apply - cgp grey. Good YouTube video, ur not unique nobody is, you are just lucky to have the time, the money, the privilege and the circumstances to express yourself creatively. Not like that is a bad thing and i understand why you are upset. I would be too. But try to hold back technology for silly reasons... Idk. That's life bro. Times change. Without change we are doomed, or maybe we were always going to be doomed in this century? I mean in this uncaring universe humanity is doomed at some point or another.
