I’m loosely aware of one tool that’s been developed along side AI deepfake stuff, a technology that’s able to detect whether it’s fake or not. I’m not fully sure what it is myself as I haven’t followed it too much, but from what I’ve heard whenever there’s a development in AI this tool is developed a bit more too, so it’s about on par with each other. While there can be pretty convincing deep fake videos used against politicians there’s tech that detects it and makes sure it’s fake. I have hope in that. I don’t know what this tool is called though and how it’s going, probably need someone that knows more about it to explain it better than what I’m trying here though
