So just to be clear You all believe an AI will be able to fully (not 99%, not 99.9% but perfect 100%) automate; Prospecting for resources, mining them, processing them, transportating them potentially globally, and using them to build the relevant hardware it needs to replace and build itself; Identify, building and maintain large energy grids, solar panels, oil, wind turbines etc. To produce all the energy it needs; And not only do this entire process without ANY human involvement or oversight whatsoever, but also without ANYONE noticing whatsoever... And apparently in only a matter of a few years too.. Sure no ones gonna notice the army of robots dredging rare earth materials out the Congo or setting up some mega energy infrastructure... No ones gonna say 'hey where did all our titanium suddenly disappear too?' Keep dreaming folks Fact, AI needs us, we DON'T need AI. AI isn't crawling into mines to get cobalt, honestly good fking luck FULLY automating that one (not 99.99% but 100% automated) You lot haven't priced up the resources to build an army of terminators, what you going to do? Mine the entire moon?
