Current AI cannot create NEW things. It can only smash existing things (text, images) together, sometimes horribly, often nicely. The term AI is the most abused term in all of IT. Get scared of AI as soon as one engine is able to detect sarcasm or irony. I remember how the industry talked about expert systems and intelligent SW in the late 80s. Some of the involved engineers acted like excited squirrels.
