People are afraid of FSD because people are afraid of everything they don't understand. I think companies have done a bad job in pushing information out on safety and automated systems. It can't come from Musk since he's been caught saying too many bogus stuff.
I don't travel as much as I used to but when I was flying all the time I'd ask people and they had no idea that humans were not actively flying the plane.
