There is one big problem I have when the industry talks about AI... From everything I've learnt having all the major models reversve hours of interaction and show how it comes to its answers. In my opinion AI does a lot of things, but it has 0 understanding of what it does. This framing of AI gives the impression AI is already, or is almost aware. It is not, it won't be if current pattern reasoning is the future blueprint. No matter how much data you feed it. Probabilistic predicting what comes next is calculating, not understanding. AI is and can be fantastic, also terrifyingly bad, which is something I feel is the end many people are seeing from slop etc, but it doesn't understand. It is a tool.
