Why don't they just install like a sim card/receptor or whatever in every vehicle containing info about what speed is it moving, model, type and whatnot? With that an AI can cross reference the information and establish exactly what's in front on it and from there decide if it's a far away car or a close cruiser motorcycle and act accordingly. Seems an easy solution to me.
