I graduated from uni like 2 years before ChatGPT and a lot of students were already cheating. You couldn't cheat on everything but for example I swapped big projects with people just so we could copy from already completed material to speed up the process a lot. Chegg was used to complete a lot of small assignments. I wouldn't say there was anything we couldn't do that we cheated on, all the largest and hardest assignments were basically impossible to cheat, it just made getting through the whole program a bit easier. IMO it counterbalanced the fact that my business program forced everything to be in groups which meant everything was way harder since most groups were half useless.
