I took computer programming in 1990/1991 and I never understood why robotics didn't dominate the manufacturing industry right away. FREE LABOR!
You basically could have had factories of robots building robots, so every industry should have been affected more. I'm not complaining!
It's the same thing with AGI as the robots/AGI can now program the actual robots instantly, and even change programs instantly as problems arise.
I'm for technology and people, but I don't understand the slow rollout of robotics and AGI, or even plain AI.
Again I'm not complaining, because we seem to need the time to adapt.
