you have to have human oversight. Even at a plant where there is automation, humans watch over and overlook the plants and their operations. They are there, present in the same building at least. How will that be done with automated trucks who driving distances away from their HQs? If you put a man inside the automated truck, then why do you need automation in the first place? that human inside the tech truck probably costs more than an average truck driver salary?
