In my opinion, Shad is a rather mediocre artist who tries to get away with his very mediocre, crooked works by using AI. In addition, as confirmation of the Dunning-Kruger effect, he is completely ignorant and arrogant, and on top of that, he aggressively gaslights, manipulates, insults and deliberately misleads the public. The fact that you steal and say, “I don't steal,” does not change the essence of the phenomenon. And his argument that “I know anatomy and proportions well, but I don't understand color and materials very well, but I'm actually an excellent artist” sounds like bullshit to me. Go and learn what you can't do. I'm a composer and sound engineer, and if someone told me, “I'm actually a good composer, but chords and melodies are my weak point,” I would just laugh, because sorry, but you HAVE to know that if you call yourself a composer. If you don't know, go and learn. There's a ton of information and courses out there, no one is keeping knowledge a secret. If you're trying to do it with crutches like AI, where's your merit in that? Writing prompts and composing music with your own brain are not the same thing at all. And passing off music based on outright theft (AI doesn't “draw inspiration,” it steals) of other people's work as your own idea is nonsense. And yes, if a disaster suddenly occurs in AI data centers, I know how to write music without these bells and whistles, but these guys are completely helpless, arrogant children who think they've caught God by the beard.
