This is such a sad thing to see. I'm mostly just confused how such a thing isn't distinctly illegal, or at least considered distinctly immoral by the government. I understand the weird loophole of a work needing a human creator to be copyrighted, or something along those lines, but I just don't get how this has been allowed to stand for so long. I'm sure its possible to deactivate these AI's to some extent, or at least discontinue their usage, but I don't get why people who realise art is being stolen by artists and used to train these AI are still ok with it. I guess its money over morality any day
