I am disabled, I have KIF5A autosomal dominant spastic paraplegia and legally blind now. I tried the AI generative stuff to try to fill in the gaps I was feeling about loosing my abilities over time. I actually enjoy some AI art but the creation of it doesn't feel the gaps that I feel from loosing abilities. So funny thing is that I'm learning to draw again with my non dominant hand. It's hard but the hand doesn't shake like the dominant hand does. I feel more accomplished about work that maybe not great but is something that I can see improvements to. I do sit on a mid point though where I see both sides, and some of the arguments sounded like the same as when the transition of film cameras and digital cameras. Unlike the cameras though, ai is using others art in majority of the case, without permission. Funny note, AI is against the idea of poisoning data on my phone to prevent theft of contacts and such and tries to frame doing such thing as putting false contacts in my phone in order to throw off anyone or anything that has gained access to my contacts, as illegal. Especially when I catch Facebook using contacts in my phone to determine if I am a real person. I unloaded my contacts from phone and Facebook asked for state ID to prove myself but I reload the contacts and then got a statement it was a mistake.
