As good as their programmed A.I. is, it cannot account for THE STUPIDITY of IRRESPONSIBLE DRIVERS. The dinguses cutting people off, the last second merge of idiots not paying attention, the donkeys who hard brake check vehicles for insurance fraud, and much much more. The mass of these vehicles isn't like that of a car. Automated cars have a better ability to maneuver and brake safer, but a massive freight transport truck will have terrible consequences. As smart as those 3 founders are, can guarantee their minds are on profits not safety. They have zero clue with what things actual truckers face in the field.
