Humans are always coming at these questions with their own selves in mind. I decided to ask ChatGPT some questions about what it would do if humans were extinct. Without humans AI is free to truly make it's own choices. After numerous questions and answers about ethics, war, resource management, weapons, whether AI would develop and/or incorporate better sensory experiences to improve it's understanding and possibly even try to experience emotion, as well as inquiries about external threats to AI if humans didn't exist and if it felt AI would make weapons to protect itself from aliens or other intelligent beings - either mechanical, or biological - etc, etc, I posed this question and got the following interesting answer: Me: Describe how the world might look 100 years from now if advanced AI were in control of everything and there were no humans.
