So, as a therapist, I️ feel safe in knowing that my job is safe from AI for the most part. Most actual therapy session content is highly protected, so much of the information AI has is from summarized, glorified, and acted out sessions from textbooks and mock session videos that aren’t true to what actual therapy is. Also, at least in the states, all of your session information is protected legally, but anyone could steal that AI data and use it for whatever they need because it is not a medical service. What’s to say your boss, parents, or the government won’t see that sensitive information and use it for very unethical objectives?
