Nah. Design isn’t dying — it’s evolving.
I’ve been doing this for 27 years. The tools? Sure, they’ve changed. We’ve gone from X-Acto knives and QuarkXPress to AI integrations and Adobe Firefly. But the core? That sacred spark? Creativity — real, raw, human creativity — hasn’t gone anywhere.
You can’t automate soul. You can’t replace ideas. Even the best AI in the world still needs a vision to execute. And guess who’s holding that vision? That’s right: the designer.
So before you jump on the doom train, remember this:
Design isn’t dying.
It’s sharpening its teeth.
