7:48 I'm surprised you don't point out that his argument that people don't like the Ghibli art style, but just the story attached to it is actually an argument AGAINST AI art, because yes, the whole package is the point, the whole story is the point, the people behind it who created not only the art but the story and the thoughts that brought those movies to be what they are.
If it was only the style, you'd watch a random image with that style and you'd think "nice image" and nothing more, but it IS more, if it's worth being plagiarize by AI, it's because it has value, value created by people, who made it valuable from those stories and those movies.
That princess Mononoke AI slop is worthless if that character wasn't from a movie. Someone designed that outfit, someone made a cool movie about that character. If none of that existed, it would just be an image of some white lady with headgear and some jewelry, but probably not, because if Princess Mononoke didn't exist, you couldn't just type a prompt telling the AI to simply generate Princess Mononoke, you would've to either design the character yourself to reach that goal OR simply ask AI to come up with it and it would've just have given a generic white lady like any generic white lady.
