I often think about One Punch Man when there is this debate about AI. A first the author was really bad at drawing, but he had a powerfull idea, so it touched people. But the manga really took off only when he found an illustrator to create better images than he could. I dont have the time to learn drawing and spend hour doing so, i prefer to concentrate on the ideas and i'm glad AI help me express them and THAT is the human part i bring. THe real problem is with production in wich you dont see any "heart". There is a difference beetween a long elaborated script and reference fed to an AI, and just "animate a funny cat video". AI is just a tool yes, like is the loom or the chainsaw that are used for conveniency, and we still admire the ones that chop wood manualy or do embroidery by hand. Do not fear the tool, but fear the ones using it badly.
