No. He's got it all wrong. The TRUE danger of AI is during this stage, where its entire 'moral' structure, and its 'goals' are being programmed by people, people who quite clearly are not interested in the truth, or any of the real data they can get from AI. They simply want to use AI to control people. In nearly every Sci-Fi about AI, it is the PEOPLE behind it that are the true enemy.
