The people who should be most worried are GPs- primary care physicians. Because they are useless at diagnosis. AI would triage far more effectively and efficiently. Sift out those that need to be referred for further tests and utilise those tests most effectively to obtain a diagnosis. And given that once a diagnosis is reached, treatments are protocol driven, they’re not necessary for ongoing management either. Billions saved from the useless eaters of healthcare who work minimum hours, command massive salaries and don’t change patient outcomes .
