lowkey just gave me an idea on how to improve my art. watching you put a color down for your characters first as like a "base" sort of thing is now making me wanna try. without this, or if I tried with ai images, I would have probably put the different color on last after the entire drawing is done and make it look 'off.'
NOT TO MENTION I thrive on speedpaints or sketches, it helps me visualize how someone drew their drawing so I can copy a part of it and see how I feel about it. my style rn is so much different than it was back in 2016, and back then I was just tracing already drawn pictures and looking up MANY youtube tutorials. my only drive? i didn't want to steal an artstyle. I wanted to be at least somewhat original.
if I grew up with ai art, I would more than likely not be able to draw as well as I can now (well, compared to my 5th grade year LMAO)
